Faulkner Brand is a boutique branding agency operation in downtown Vancouver. Our tightly knit and highly energetic team is looking for a like-minded and creative Web Developer to join our expanding business. You will be working within the creative services team on execution of web interface designs, database programming and management, flash oriented development and management for a variety of reputable clients, across various communications mediums. Essential Functions:

• Produce fully functioning both static HTML and interactive Flash websites.
• Assist with creative services team project coordination and distribution of materials.
• Coordination with internal and external staff.
• Maintain up to date on current trends and technological skills.
• Basic website interface design.

Qualifications/skills required:

The successful applicant will have:

• Post-secondary education in Web or Interactive Media.
• 1 - 2 years' experience in publishing websites.
• Is able to work at a fast-pace without sacrificing accuracy
• Has exceptional organizational, multi-tasking and interpersonal skills to deal with clients and printers
• Experience in all Adobe software (Fireworks, Dreamweaver, Flash), and understanding of Microsoft Office applications on a Mac platform
• Intermediate level understanding of PHP5 programming and MySQL database.
• Intermediate level understanding of Action Scripting.
• Detailed oriented
• Must work well under pressure and deadlines
• Ability to build trust-based relationships and to take responsibility for your work and self
