The Role

Reporting directly to the Application Development Manager, the Intermediate Software Developer will be responsible for programming on new projects, as well as supporting live applications. In addition to support functions, this role will involve the maintenance and development of our in-house proprietary software. This maintenance and development will be performed based on knowledge of AJAX and Web 2.0 and SQL Server. The Intermediate Software Developer will also have the opportunity to work directly with our QA Business Analyst on key project and development issues.

Technical Attributes

Essentials:

• 2 or more years of application development using AJAX and Web 2.0
• XML/XSLT knowledge is a must
• Experience with .Net and web-based applications
• Database expertise using SQL is mandatory
• Experience working with and maintaining in-house proprietary software
• Computer Science Degree or equivalent programming experience with Microsoft products is a must

Assets:

• Working knowledge in a fast paced, start-up environment
• At ease with both autonomous work, as well as team-based work

Salary for the Intermediate Software Developer is commensurate with experience.
